Situated just 13 km from Cape Town's City Bowl, this traditional
Parkland course is steeped in history. Mowbray was formed in
1910 and has hosted the South African Open, South African Amateur and
Bell's Open through the years.
A challenging and well-manicured course, coupled with friendly staff,
makes this a treat for members and visitors alike.
From Cape Town take the M5 towards Muizenberg. Take the N2 (Airport)
off-ramp and keep left. Take the Forest Road - Pinelands (Rappenberg
Road) off-ramp and turn right into Links Road at the traffic light. The
club is straight ahead.
Personal note from Ashley:
One of the few courses that plays off a 1 tee start. This affords you
the possibility of a LATE
morning tee-time unlike most other local courses. Very helpful and
They stock a limited supply of golf shoes to rent. Revamped greens in
2006 add quality to this traditional parkland layout.
